How does the Vitus Mythique ride?

This was Lauren’s first time out on the Vitus Mythique; taking it to the trails at Davagh Forest Park in Cookstown, Northern Ireland. Blasting through the trails on a new bike can bring no better feeling, so once Lauren blasted a few laps out, she gave us her feedback on the bike.

Everything just felt seemless..I’m not known for my climbing abilities but climbing (on this bike) I actually stayed upright. I think this is down to having a dropper seatpost which I didn’t have on my last bike.

Lauren then went on to describe how the bike handled on the downhill – after all this is the best part of mountain biking. ‘When it came to the downhill I’m the type of person who likes to get to know a bike, to trust it. On the first run I was hesitant and nervy, wasn’t so sure.

On the second run it was like bouncing on a cloud, you didn’t feel the bumps of the roots or rocks, there was no harshness at all. It was a dream to ride and far too much fun.’
