Nukeproof launch cool new kids MTBs

Nukeproof have expanded their kids collection of mountain bikes with the new 14″ and 16″ Cub Scout, plus a balance bike, the Cub Scoot.
Designed and developed by the team behind the brand’s podium-winning models, the new kids bikes are durable, lightweight and a brilliant introduction to off-road riding. Let’s take a closer look at each of the bikes:
Nukeproof Cub Scoot

The smallest new addition, the Nukeproof Cub Scoot has all-terrain tires for maximum off-road grip and features an adjustable saddle height to grow with your child. It also comes rear-brake-ready so you can install brakes at a later time (so they can learn how to brake, and of course how to do skids!).
Nukeproof Cub Scout 14”

A perfect first mountain bike, the Cub Scout 14” is suitable for ages 3+ (95-110 cm) and shares the DNA with its big brother, the infamous Scout, as a proper mountain bike.
Neat features include singlespeed gearing for simplicity plus short-reach brake levers for the disc brakes, so that even the smallest of hands can pull on the anchors when things get rowdy.
It’s stabiliser compatible if pedaling takes a little longer to master, plus has a low standover height and saddle height adjuster, so will grow with your child. Mountain bike tyres on lightweight wheels will make it easier to pedal, plus child-specific components are a nice touch to this little shredding machine.
Nukeproof Cub Scout 16”

Designed for riders aged 5 years and older (105-120 cm), the 16” version of the Cub Scout has all the child-friendly features of the 14” version including single-speed gearing, short-reach brake levers and stabiliser compatibility.
