New component range Box spars with SRAM and Shimano

Chain Reaction Cycles is now stocking the most complete range available from the new component maker everyone is talking about – Box.
The Southern Californian drivetrain specialist is the brainchild of downhill and BMX legend Toby Henderson, and his competitive nature is shining through with Box’s aggressive strategy.

Box promises to replace a part not only if it’s defective but also if it breaks or cracks

Not only is the quality of Box components up there with the big boys, but the company is offering a unique, lifetime warranty policy.

Box promises to replace a part not only if it’s defective but also if it breaks or cracks – which is amazing news for mountain bikers used to simply chalking their damaged components up as a loss (See ‘Full warranty text’ below for more information).
Meanwhile, the competitive price means Box parts are an attractive investment for those aching from the cost of worn cassettes or damaged derailleurs.

The company has also learned from the big two with the release of its budget-friendly option

Their components are also designed to be compatible with your existing SRAM and Shimano drivetrains, giving you a bigger array of options when upgrading or replacing.

The company entered the ultra-competitive component arena a few years ago with the Box One derailleur and opinion-splitting PushPush shifter design that featured a unique control system.
This has now been ditched in favour of a more common Shimano-style shifter, while the company has also learned from the big two with the release of its budget-friendly option – Box Two.
Chain Reaction Cycles is now stocking one of the widest available ranges of Box’s products, including Box One and Box Two cassettes, derailleurs, shifters, chains, seat clamps, and more, with 7-speed, 9-speed, and 11-speed options available.
