When you think Italian you may think incredible food or stunning architecture but do you ever think bikes? Well, this bike right here is the Cinelli King Zydeco – a king of gravel adventures!
With space for 700c x 42c or 650b x 2.1 wheels and tyres, the adaptable gravel-inspired design is ideal for long distance exploration. This one-of-a-kind frame allows you to ride swiftly on tarmac or over uneven terrain while still having plenty of room for your bags.
The carbon monocoque construction and racing geometry make this frame light and extremely fast.
The King Zydeco is equipped with a Kevlar shield on the underside of the downtube to protect the paintwork and carbon fibre when riding off-road.
Cinelli have also introduced a dual response system, which increases stiffness in the lower part of the frame, greatly improving pedalling efficiency and power transfer, while keeping the upper supple enough to be comfortable.
The Columbus Futura Cross carbon front fork incorporates a unique flip-chip in the fork dropout, which is a flappable inlay in the fork that allows the geometry to be adjusted in relation to the fork.
Cinelli has installed the world’s lightest gravel-specific Campagnolo Ekar 13 speed group set. For those off-road or on-road excursions, the single chainring drivetrain paired with a 9-42 tooth cassette provides a light, efficient, and precise gear selection.
Cinelli has also equipped the King Zydeco with Miche Graff DX wheels; covered in fast-rolling, high-traction Schwalbe CX Comp tyres, which are suited for slippery roads and tough gravel terrain.
