Install a SRAM GX Eagle Groupset

Thinking about installing a SRAM GX Eagle groupset? Here’s a step-by-step guide. We’ve outlined the major steps below, followed by a video showing everything you need to do for a successful installation.

1. Remove chain
2. Remove crank
3. Remove spacer from non driveside crank axle
4. Remove preload spacer
5. Using rubber mallet, strike axle and remove
6. Remove bottom bracket
7. Fit new bottom bracket
8. Remove cassette
9. Fit new cassette
10. Bolt on new rear mech using 5mm allen key
11. Add new shifter
12. Set the gears
