Helmets

Bluegrass Protection - Helmets

Bluegrass have both full face and open helmets in their range, if you are riding or racing downhill, enduro or freeride then it’s better to choose a helmet with chin bar protection for added safety in high-speed impacts. For everyday trail riding or freestyle, where weight and breathability are key, an open face helmet is generally better.

Full face

Their full-face offering comes in the shape of the Legit and Legit Carbon which offer the highest level of protection and performance and the Intox which is a great value helmet.

The Carbon version is top of the Bluegrass range and is constructed with an advanced Carbon Fibre shell, this reduces weight while maintaining impact performance. It also features Mips for advanced rotational protection.

Both Legit helmets feature a unique safety release flexible visor to reduce neck injury in impacts, removable and washable padding, hearing vents and air channeling to keep your head cool. Needless to say, the Legit surpasses all safety certifications including ASTM.

The Intox is a budget friendly full face which still features removable padding, adjustable visor and neck brace compatibility, most importantly it is also fully certified for CE, AS/NZS and ASTM.
