A former BBC Apprentice candidate, Jim reached the final three in the boardroom with Lord Sugar, and was an All Ireland Cycling Champion in his teens.

Pictured with Neil McGuigan, Retail Manager at CRC's flagship Belfast store and Kerry Anderson from CRC's nominated Northern Ireland charity, Action Cancer, Jim said: "This event is a great way to not only promote cycling as a fantastic sport and a leisure activity, but also to provide Belfast with a great opportunity to be involved in the 2012 Games.

It is events like these which truly show off Belfast's capability to host world-class events, and hopefully many more prestigious sporting events like this one will follow in the future."

The Big Bike 2012 leisure cycle will follow in the 22 mile tracks of the Olympic hopefuls and is already proving popular, with half of the 500 available places now booked.
We encourage anyone to take part, whether it is on your own, with a group, on a tandem or even with a baby seat or pull along bike on the back so the younger cycling fans can take part. Register now at www.CelticChrono.com while spaces are still available.
The Big Bike 2012 aims to raise as much money for five local Northern Ireland charities, with CRC's nominated charity, Action Cancer, being one of them. Alternatively if you just want to ride the track for fun then you can still sign up online and enjoy the beautiful scenery from Stormont through to Craigantlet, Ards into Bangor, Holywood and back to Stormont again.

The Celtic Chrono pre-Olympic qualifying event is now fully booked with athletes from over 16 different countries competing for vital Olympic qualifying points. Places were filled within a matter of weeks of the date being announced proving the Celtic Chrono to be a world class event.

For non-cyclists or any younger children there will be a fantastic range of activities and entertainment taking place at the Family Fun Day afterwards in the grounds of the Stormont Estate allowing everyone to get involved in the action. We encourage everyone to come down and support this amazing event.
