This is one of the lightest bikes we’ve featured on the Hub – it’s Vitus rider Adam Kenway’s Vitus Vitesse Evo RAW, the 5.5kg custom featherweight machine that Adam rode to third place in the 2018 British National Hill Climb Championships.
Based around a bare Vitesse Evo frameset with only a single coat of lacquer, the end result is a 180g weight saving over Vitus’ painted production frame. Here’s a closer look at the bike…
Cut-down Shimano Dura-Ace brake levers mounted to a minimal Fizik R1 carbon bar.
Vitus Vitesse Evo RAW frameset.
Lightweight Gipfelsturm wheelset.
SRAM RED chain is installed.
Lightweight Planet X brakes.
Ritchey WCS stem with Fizik R1 handlebar.
