Bike check: Adam Kenway’s featherweight hill climb bike

This is one of the lightest bikes we’ve featured on the Hub – it’s Vitus rider Adam Kenway’s Vitus Vitesse Evo RAW, the 5.5kg custom featherweight machine that Adam rode to third place in the 2018 British National Hill Climb Championships.

Based around a bare Vitesse Evo frameset with only a single coat of lacquer, the end result is a 180g weight saving over Vitus’ painted production frame. Here’s a closer look at the bike…
