Strava, the online network for cyclists and runners, have published data from 2014 giving never seen before data of running and cycling activity across the UK, and we've produced a handy infographic with the important details based on the cycling info.
So, how do you shape up against the national average in cycling?
The cycling Strava Story reveals that UK cyclists on Strava rode a total of 521,189,000 km (323,851,829miles) in 2014; equivalent to 334,310 rides from Land’s End to John O’Groats
These facts are pretty interesting – a 54% drop off in activity uploads between Summer and Winter shows that half of us are fair weather riders.
Not to mention we love a craze, with activity up almost three times as much during the time Le Tour de Yorkshire was in England.
