Campaigners pushing for a single London Cycle Map, a scheme which Chain Reaction Cycles strongly supports, have created a ‘Top 100 reasons for a London Cycle Map’ to coincide with the countdown to the London 2012 Olympics.

The list so far includes navigation made easy, making Londoners healthier, it’s beautiful, it’s a lean solution and it would convince my mum to cycle! Read the full list here.

The Campaign needs you!
Originally invented by Simon Parker, the London Cycle Map aims to help people of all ages and abilities to cycle throughout the capital on a comprehensive, joined-up network of quieter, safer streets. Parker identified a pattern in the capital’s tangle of cycle routes and found that within the complexity there’s structure: a series of long straight routes transecting London in all directions like waves, providing a direct connection between any two areas.

CRC urge you to back the London Cycle Map Campaign – if you want to see it happen, please sign the petition.
