It was great to see Exposure at this year’s Eurobike trade show, who had updated models of their tried and tested lights as well as some brand new units, which included the updated Strada MK6 front light and the all new Link & Link Plus helmet mounted lights.
Both lights will be available from Chain Reaction Cycles, and we got the lowdown for you while we were there.
Exposure Link and Link+
A new addition to the Exposure range are the Link and Link Plus lights. The Link is Exposure’s most compact front and rear light system designed primarily for commuting. Both lights have been designed to be mounted to your helmet so that you can be seen from a long distance and above the surrounding traffic.
The link features a 100 lumen front light and a 35 lumen rear while the Link Plus see an increase in power with a 150 lumen front and 45 lumen rear. We were impressed with the Link range and think they will be a hit with the city commuters!
Exposure Strada MK6
For 2016 the Strada MK6 sees its power increasing 25% to 1000 measured lumens, it also now features the OLED status display which has already been seen on other lights in their range last year. The OLED display lets you select which light option you require while showing you the battery life percentage and burn time in each setting to allow you to accurately gauge how much battery you have left.
The Strada also features a new lens design which increases the spread of the beam from 180 degrees to 230 degrees which helps increase safety on country lanes and traffic junctions.
