The Countrywide Great Tour, a 64-day circumnavigation of coastline by bicycle starts from Anglesey on Saturday 4 July.
As the world's greatest bike race, the Tour de France, gets underway in the Netherlands, a group of cyclists will be heading off from Holyhead on Anglesey to embark upon The Countrywide Great Tour, a 6,600-kilometre circumnavigation of Britain's coastline by bike.
Starting on Saturday 4th July and finishing on Saturday 5th September, the eve of the Aviva Life Tour of Britain's Grand Depart from Anglesey, The Countrywide Great Tour is supported by Countrywide, the UK's largest and most successful estate agency and property services group.
Over the course of 64-days heading in a clockwise direction around the British coast riders will never lose the sight, the sound or the smell of the sea, returning to Anglesey in time to celebrate the opening stage of the Aviva Tour of Britain starting from the island.
Five riders will be taking on the challenge of the entire route, joined each day by riders from corporate partners as well as fundraisers from the event's official charity partners.
Over 300 cyclists have so far signed-up to join The Countrywide Great Tour for one or more days, helping to raise money for a range of good causes and there is still time to sign-up via the website to be a part of the event.
Among those will be taking on the entire nine-week challenge will be James Dowling, Countrywide Area Director, who is Countrywide's ambassador on the event.
