The world’s best freeriders have started to arrive in Utah, USA, in preparation for this weekend’s Red Bull Rampage and they’ll be scoping the lines, digging new tracks and psyching themselves up for the ride of their lives on Sunday (7th October) when the big comp kicks off.

In the meantime we’ve trawled the web so you don’t have to, bringing you a slice of the action direct from the riders:

UK rider Brendan Fairclough tools up for his time in the mountains!

This was Brendan's view of the course – "Anyone fancy jumping this with me? Na me neither!" he said. Yep, you're on your own there Brendan!

Troy Lee Designs have once again produced a few custom lids for this epic comp. This one's Brandon Semenuk's – we like.

And here's Cam Zink's one-off Troy Lee Designs D3 helmet.

Geoff Gulevich is in on the custom lid act with this from Pro Tec.

Curtis Robinson is ready to send it on his Rampage-ready Specialized Demo.

Sam Pilgrim's NS Soda ready for battle!

This is Thomas Vanderham's Rocky Mountain Flatline.

Leatt delivered the goods with this custom neck brace for Tyler McCaul.

Cam Zink's view of the course – with the chopper already in the air. Come Sunday it'll be recording all the action live.

Sam Pilgrim looks over the course. Study the pic closely – there are people and vehicles down there!

Another incredible view from Sam Pilgrim.

The building, shaping and scoping will continue all week – as captured here by Tyler McCaul.
