Here's Michael's report:
"The race started with Saturday's qualification, which I won. I'm really happy about that because it's the first ever qualification that I've won at a big race. The Dirt Jump World Series was also taking place during the weekend in Winterberg, so there were lots of spectators pushing me forward in my quali run. The track was so smooth with a lot of corners and small jumps and I felt pretty good on it.
Sunday's race started quite early which is great because I was going into the race really fresh. I won all of my motos until the semi-final where I took second place behind Tomas Slavik. For the main event people around the track were wild and the loud music made a good atmosphere out there. But I was still focused on my final and I took second place behind Tomas Slavik.
This weekend was really great, funny and I enjoyed that."
