MBR magazine have just featured the 2013 version of the Vitus Escarpe 1 full suspension bike in the September edition of the mag, highlighting the bike’s component upgrades and shock tuning which provide a playful, responsive update over the 2012 model.
Here are some of the highlights of the article:
“Upgrading to a RockShox Monarch RT3 brings more factory tuning options for Vitus and a more usable range of adjustment for the rider, both of which should result in a more active suspension response and better handling out on the trail.
Improvements have been made on to the front suspension, too. With only one air spring to adjust on the RockShox Solo Air fork, it’s now much easier to get the fork dialled in. Swapping to a tapered fork steerer also takes full advantage of the stiffness benefits of the tapered head tube on the Escarpe frame.”
