CRC are dleighted to announce their support of Tinylife's ever popular Cycle Challenge event which takes place on the Portadown to Newry Towpath (Northern ireland) on Sunday 23rd September 2012.
Simon Cordner, PR Manager Chain Reaction Cycles says “Chain Reaction Cycles are delighted to support the TinyLife Towpath Challenge 2012. We’re excited to be involved with such a great event, supporting a local charity that does invaluable work for many local families in Northern Ireland.”
The TinyLife Towpath Challenge has been set at 9, 20 or 40 mile. The 9 mile route stops at Scarva Tea Rooms, 20 mile has the option of going all the way to Newry or you can cycle to Scarva and back to Portadown and the 40mile is to Newry and back to Portadown. Lunch will be provided in the Olive Tea Rooms in Newry. All we ask is £10 to register and a minimum of £50 in sponsorship. 16 and under is £5 registration and a minimum of £30 in sponsorship.

In Northern Ireland 7 babies a day are born too soon, 900 babies spend time in a neonatal intensive care unit each year 80% of babies who are born alive but die in the first 28 days of life are born prematurely. On average there are two stillbirths every week. TinyLife is committed to funding medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage, provide information to health professionals and ensure families of premature babies receive the emotional and practical support they need.
