Quebrantahuesos – Gran Fondo
June 18, 2016
The Chain Reaction Cycles Quebrantahuesos is back again for 2016
As one of the most well-recognised cyclosportive events in Europe the Quebrantahuesos continues to grow year-on-year. The Gran Fondo is 200km in length and passes through a stunning mix of Spanish and French Pyreneen scenery. Cyclists will witness some of the most awe-inspiring mountain passes as the route crosses from one country to the other.
The start takes place in the Spanish town of Sabinanigo and the Gran Fondo route takes you over the Col du Somport (1,640mt), France’s Col du Marie Blanque (1,035m) and Col du Portalet (1,795mt), before finishing back in Sabinanigo.
The Quebrantahuesos Gran Fondo has become one of the most Iconic events in the cycling calendar even for the most serious cyclist. For those that wish to take part, there two sportive options depending on how big a challenge you wish to take on. You can view the routes on the event organiser’s website.
The Sportive Routes
